Dinner Theatre - The 13th annual dinner theatre on Friday, January 27th and Saturday, January 28th at our Church hall. Roast Beef dinner at 7:00 om and Curtain at 8:00 pm. "35 Years of Broadway and Gilbert and Sullivan Hits" - a musical trip down memory lane. Cost: $25.00 each, reserved only. Sunday evening Card Party: The Sunday evening Card Parties are held each Sunday evening at 7:00 PM in the church hall. Sheila and Dick MacDonald have graciously volunteered to take care of the card party for this year for which we are very thankful. 

Prayer Line:
Our prayer line has three contact persons - Marie Hogan (446-4705), Delcina Richard (450-0114) and Alice Regan (446-5881). Anyone having a prayer request, please contact one of these ladies.

Beavers, Scouts and Cubs - The church hall has been reserved for their use on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Registration begins on Tuesday night, September 13th in the foyer of the church.  The parish is the sponsor of these groups.

Church Hall Cleaner - We are in search of a cleaner to clean the hall on a weekly basis. We hope that someone will come forward to do this job so we don't have to call in a company to do the work. Please call the office (444-6005) or speak with Barb or Les to find out more about the position.


Events in other places:

Quilting - At St. Anthony's on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 - 4:00 pm . No experience is necessary, we will teach you. Come out, watch the quilting go on and take your first stitches. If you have any questions, call Gail Mitchell (472-2644) 

St. Anthony's "Touched by Cancer" Mass - For those whose lives have been affected by cancer. Friday, January 20th at 7:00 pm. All are welcome

Wheels-to-Meals Seniors Dining Out - This program invites those 60 years and over to come together in fellowship with peers, a nutritious hot meal, and entertainment. The program runs from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm every Tuesday on the north side of Fredericton. The cost is $7.50 and transportation is provided if needed. We are  also recruiting additional drivers and entertainers for the program. If you play an instrument, sing, participate in a choir, dance group or other entertaining activity, and are willing to donate one half hour of your time, we would love to hear from you. Please call us for more information at 458-9482. Wheels-to-Meals is a program of Meals on Wheels Frederiction Inc.

Regional Catechetical Coordinator - Fredericton Region

The Diocese of Saint John is seeking a new Regional Coordinator for Religioius Formation for the Fredericton Region. The Regional Catechetical Coordinator offers vision, direction and formation to parish coordinators and catcheists of children and youth in the region. This involves children form age four to youth in Grade 12. The person should have knowledge adn experience of the Canadian Catechetical Series, as well as experience in planning and coordinating evetns and workshops. The person should also be able to work collaboratively with others. This is a salaried part-time position for 52 weeks a year with an expectation of 24 hours per week subject to a flex time policy. Renumerationn is paid bi-weekly and includes vacation pay. If you have a person in your parish or you yourself are interested, please contact Regional Catechetical office at 444-6025.
